Adel has over thirty years of experience in the banking sector working in the areas of financial control and risk management. During his tenure at NBAD, Adel occupied different positions including that of the Corporate Secretary and Secretary to the risk management committee.  Mr. Lotfy is an IRR certified corporate governance specialist, and has been a regular speaker on corporate governance issues.
